Here are my tips:
1. Apply for jobs
The recruiters have to use certain algorithms to identify the best applicants. Because the choice is overwhelming. If they use algorithms, why can't the applicant use algorithms too?
We can ask Chat GPT, "I'm about to write an application and I'm about to provide my work experience. Please show me how I can change the words I use and the details of my experience to better align with the algorithms used by HR for this job posting.”
Then you repeat the process – and repeat it again. Basically, it's like matching algorithm by algorithm.
2. Research for your professional network
Make sure you can verify anything you research. I first make sure Bing, Chat GPT and so on are looking at the right person. Then I say, “Give me five professional topics that might be relevant to your world. And three personal interests they have that we might be able to bond over.”
Obtain these points and then verify that they are correct.
3. Learn something new
Even with close friends, there's a limit to how many questions you can ask them before you feel unsafe. Chat GPT answers all your questions and goes as deep as you want. He gives you real life examples that you can understand and relate to. And defines terms that you may not have understood for a long time.
For example, I found that after about 30 minutes of asking Chat GPT questions, I understood APIs in a way that otherwise would have been completely unclear to me.
4. Troubleshooting everyday problems
On LinkedIn, I wrote about small frustrations, among other things - about the formatting of texts, about iPhone settings or about how to get superglue off your fingers. You can google these things, but chatting doesn't require searching or scrolling through a website. You just experience it, and if the solution doesn't work, you can say, "Hey, that didn't work."I got super glue on my fingers. Chat GPT gave me four tips to try and finally reminded me to be patient and careful not to hurt myself!
5. Go through long email threads
Everyone knows the e-mail chains in Gmail , which have 16 points or more. And you're like, "Oh my god, I have to read through all of this to figure out what to do."
So I open it in a new window, press CTRL-A, CTRL-C, paste it into Chat GPT, and say "Can you tell me if there are any tasks for me in it?" The chatbot will say yes or no . And then you say, "Okay, can you sum that up in three sentences?"
This is an extremely valuable use case. Because everyone has those long chain emails where they just want to say, "Can someone tell me what I need to do?" And there's a product that can do just that.
